When watching a movie the director wants you, the viewer, to be in suspension of disbelief so that you can get into the story. What makes this difficult is when you see a mistake that makes it obvious that this is a movie and not in real life.

But as with anything, human error date does occur, so you’re sometimes left with these kinds of fault sin movies that can be infuriating.

1-  SPIDER MAN

When mary jane is being mugged by four men, spider man throws two of the men into two windows behind mary jane. The shot switches to spider man beating up the other two guys. When it cut back to mary the two windows are intact.

2-  THE RETURN OF THE KING

In the second half of the film, Frodo has a scar on his lower right cheek, close to his chin. Many times throughout the rest of the film the scar changes position and size on his right cheek. It also appears on his left cheek and flipped shots. 

3- HARRY POTTER

At the start of the feast, after harry is sorted into gryffindor, he sits down on the right side of the table next to ron. When the feast appears, harry is on another side of the table, next to harmoine.

4- X- MEN 2

In the end, when the president is visited by x men, he receives a blue binder, which is laid in front of him on the table. When they have left, you see a shot including the president’s desk, and you can see the only thing he has on the table are some sheets of paper, stapled in upper left corner, opened up.

5- AMERICAN PIE – 2

In the bedroom scene displaying a photograph in this you can clearly see the closeup picture is below in the section and right below the girl is holding a picture in her hand where the closeup picture is right up.

6- ALIEN

When the search party goes into the bone ship, they are wearing full space suits, and hoods under their helmets. When Kane’s helmet is first cut off, he has no hood on.

7- RESERVOIR DOGS

When they bring Marvin Nash to be tortured, his hands are cuffed behind his back. They start kicking him and his hands are then seen cuffed in front. Then, they switch back just a few moments later and his hands are back behind his back again.

8- LOON

After Leon rescues Mathilda from the SWAT team and dodges the snipers, he shoots out a ventilation fan to make an escape route. He gets off two shots before we see the vent, but when it does we see about 7 bullet holes around the vent. Then the camera goes back to Leon as he continues firing. When the camera switches back, the holes around the vent are different.

9- TERMINATOR -2

When the T-1000 is driving the truck, he drives off a bridge and the windshield pops off, but in the next scene the windshield is back.

10- RETURN OF THE JEDI

When Lando says “Go on, you pirate” his entire outfit is reversed – his shoulder holster strap goes the other way, and his rank insignia changes side too.

11-   INGLORIOUS BASTARDS

The German Feldwebel, who gets beaten to death with a baseball bat, has a badge over is left breast pocket which disappears and reappears during shots.

12- FORREST GUMP

In the scene where Forrest goes and visits Jenny (and is introduced to his son), there is an iron on the ironing board in the background. It stands up, then down, then up. The child’s artwork in the background also disappears.
